Background

I’m a Solutions Architect and DevOps Consultant based in the Frankfurt area with over 20 years of experience in software development, infrastructure automation, and enterprise IT.

My career has taken me through datacenter operations at Amadeus, software engineering management at Kia Europe, and consulting engagements in banking and energy sectors. Along the way, I’ve developed deep expertise in Python development, Ansible automation, and container orchestration.

I hold an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), with a thesis focused on Domain-Driven Design.

What I Do Now

Since December 2023, I’ve been working as an independent consultant, helping organizations automate infrastructure, modernize deployments, and build reliable systems.

My current focus areas are:

  • Ansible Automation Platform – Enterprise-grade automation with governance
  • OpenShift / Kubernetes – Container orchestration for on-premise and hybrid environments
  • Python Development – Backend services, APIs, and automation tools
  • Data Pipelines & IPAM – NetBox, dcTrack, and infrastructure data integration

What’s Next

I’m currently exploring AI Infrastructure and LLMOps — the operational side of deploying and managing Large Language Models in enterprise environments. This includes vector databases, model serving infrastructure, RAG pipelines, and observability for AI workloads.

As someone who’s spent years helping organizations run reliable infrastructure, I see a natural evolution: the same principles of automation, observability, and governance that apply to traditional infrastructure are becoming essential for AI systems.
