Background

I’m a Solutions Architect, DevOps & AI Automation Consultant based in the Frankfurt area with over 25 years of experience in software development, infrastructure automation, and enterprise IT.

My career has run through datacenter operations at Amadeus, software engineering management at Kia Europe, and consulting engagements in banking and energy sectors. Python development, Ansible automation, and container orchestration are where I’m strongest.

I hold an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), with a thesis focused on Domain-Driven Design.

What I Do Now

Since December 2023 I’ve been working as an independent consultant, automating infrastructure and modernizing deployments for organizations that need them to be reliable.

Most of that work falls into five areas. Ansible Automation Platform, with governance built in. OpenShift and Kubernetes for on-premise and hybrid environments. Python for backend services, APIs, and automation tools. Data pipelines and IPAM: infrastructure data integration with NetBox and dcTrack. And practical LLM integration: RAG pipelines, and self-hosted AI deployments that stay GDPR-compliant.

What’s Next

I’m currently exploring AI Infrastructure and LLMOps: the operational side of deploying and managing Large Language Models in enterprise environments. Vector databases, model serving infrastructure, RAG pipelines, observability for AI workloads.

It’s less of a jump than it sounds. Automation, observability, and governance matter the same way for AI systems as they do for anything else running in production.
